Important Shipping Timetable Reminders To Consider When Ordering

We generally ship next day except for certain orders placed WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY.  Because we ship our product frozen packed in cooler packs, orders placed on WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY may not ship until the next MONDAY OR TUESDAY to ensure the product stays fresh.   Orders placed for certain parts of the west coast to include Alaska and Hawaii may ship only on Monday depending on weather conditions.  Our goal is to get your package to your address as soon as possible from its mailing date.  (Exceptions are at our discretion).  Orders will not ship to their intended location if our shippers notify us that weather will affect deliver time.  In these weather related instances, shipping may be delayed by a FULL WEEK.   We apologize for this policy, but in the past, our jam shipments have spoiled while sitting at shipper locations waiting for weather to clear.

Our product may arrive at your home partially thawed or thawed.  This does not hurt the product in any way.  Simply place the product back in the freezer (Yes it can be refrozen) or place it in your refrigerator.  The product must be maintained in the refrigerator or freezer to continue its freshness.

Ice Box Jam is dedicated to the commitment of ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of our jams.  Our jars are individually wrapped and packed in a fully insulated cooler system containing either COOLER PACKS or dry ice.   

                                                       DRY ICE HANDLING

Dry Ice temperature is extremely cold at -109.3°F or -78.5°C.  Prolonged contact with the skin will freeze cells and cause injury similar to a burn.  When your order arrives you may leave the dry ice inside the cooler box.  Place the cooler box outside and the dry ice will evaporate harmlessly within 24 hours.  If you wish to dispose of the dry ice sooner, using protective gloves or pot holders, lift the dry ice or the bag of dry ice from the cooler and place it and/or the bag outside in a ventilated trash container.   

                                                    Shipping Terms & Charges

US customers can determine shipping charges by placing items in their shopping cart and specifying your location.  Shipping is automatically calculated.  **However, purchases over 24 pounds will incur a shipping surcharge.**  If you intend to place an order over 24 pounds, please call us at 732-406-1285 or email us at info@iceboxjam.com for an accurate shipping charge.  We do not make any profit on shipping and our goal is to pass any saving on to our customers. 

                                                         International Shipping

We are sorry, but we do not ship internationally at this time. 

                                                            Shipping Carriers

We ship via either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail.  The shipping method is at our discretion. (We reserve the right to ship via commercial carrier on orders of $500+.) 

                                                         Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for all costs involved in re-shipping goods when the submitted address is incorrect or incomplete. Always be sure to include the complete street address in the address field--including apartment number, business name, etc. We do not ship to Post Office Boxes, only to a physical mailing address.

                                                         Expedited Shipping

Overnight and 2 day air shipping is available to our customers at the carrier fee at the time of shipping.  We do not make a profit on shipping and our goal is to pass any saving on to our customers.  We will not ship any package overnight or 2nd day air unless you first call or email for shipping location pricing.   This will ensure the proper shipping fee is posted to your account.   Please wait for our reply before you place your expedited order. 

                                                               Cancellations

Cancellations cannot be guaranteed.  Order cancellations can only be applied before shipping.  Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.  Please be sure to double-check your order before clicking on the "Submit Order" button.  

                                                              Return Policy

Because we ship food items, returns cannot be accepted on the perishable items.  Shipping charges will not be refunded.   If delivery on a shipment is refused, no refunds will be applied under any circumstances.  All costs incurred by us to retrieve the goods will be applied to the customers account.   Please contact us with any questions prior to ordering.   

                                                                 Damaged Goods

If your goods arrive damaged, do not refuse delivery or immediately return the shipment.  E-mail us, and include a thorough description of the damage.  Please take a picture of the damage so that we may forward the picture to our shipping carrier.  We will pursue an insurance claim with our shipping carrier, and send out replacement goods when appropriate. (Be sure to keep the shipment--including packing materials--intact, as our carrier may elect to inspect the package.) All damage claims must be made within a reasonable time after delivery confirmation has been recorded by the shipping carrier.  Damage claims made after a reasonable time will not be refunded or exchanged.  Because our product is perishable, E & J Specialty Foods, LLC retains the sole right to determine what the reasonable time will be after delivery confirmation has been recorded.

The pictures on our site are for demonstration purposes only.  Color variations, texture, and size will all be different from the actual products delivered.   We attempt to be as accurate as possible with our pictures and text.  However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are error-free.  If an error is found, please contact us via the "Contact Us" section of this site and a correction will be made.
